This degree offers you a foundation in the biological, physical and social sciences as well as additional elective courses that explore environmental issues. Coursework brings together theoretical concepts in environmental science with laboratory experience and policy analysis for a well-rounded transfer-oriented program.

Many of the courses also provide students with hands-on field studies. Environmental internships/co-op programs also may be arranged for motivated, high achieving students.

The field of environmental science has grown rapidly, with professionals needed in a variety of sectors: government agencies; non-governmental organizations; academia and private businesses. This program will prepare you to continue your education in an environmental discipline and ultimately pursue a related career.
